This place is a bit if a gem to me. If we feel like going for a swim, walk the beach for driftwood and seeing colorful stones, this is one of our favorites because you can park right next to these rocks.
The house at the end of this beach on Penzance Road was built with many stones from this beach!
You may not know, but this road along the beach, 'Penzance', is frequently washed out by storms, it has been a lot of work for our town to upkeep this gravel way between the ocean and beautiful pond on the other inland side. If it is not maintained, the houses by the pond as well as the pond, will be exposed to the oceans tides especially during storms. We cherish this place!
I hope you enjoy this piece and it reminds you of a serene time too!
